What we often overlook in these debates is that every programming language and platform is criticized based on certain issues, which are created by how we use the platform. ![]() The debate still continues, and may not end anytime soon. Users can define the number of words to include in their passwords, it can be as long as 10 words or as short as 3 words. The separators can be any character you choose such as letters, numbers, or special symbols. When they are combined, it should not make sense. Don't use a single word from the dictionary - using words from a dictionary is fine as long as you are using multiple unrelated words.Today's scammers and hackers are much more sophisticated than we can ever imagine. Don't use personal information - you should never use any words or numbers that are related to yourself or families such as your house number, phone number, hobbies, social security number, date of birth, car model, or the names of family members or friends.Numbers, letters & special characters - it is recommended that you use a mix of numbers, upper and lower case letters, and special characters in your password. To create a strong and easy-to-remember password, you need to have at least 8 characters. Use a minimum of 8 characters - longer passwords are harder to guess or crack by hackers. Here are a few tips for creating a memorable password for yourself that is hard for others to guess. That's why we created this strong memorable password generator online to generate passwords that are both easier to remember and secure at the same time. ![]() The only problem is that it is almost impossible to remember all the passwords we created. To keep our accounts and identity secure and safe, we need to have strong and unique passwords to access all these different services. In today's digital world, the average user has about 20 different accounts online and offline. A random memorable password is difficult to crack because they are much longer in length. The random password generator words can help you generate strings of words longer than a regular password.

Lara joins her first major expedition to find Yamatai with popular archeologist Dr. Lara was invited on an expedition to YamataiWith Richard Croft mostly out of the picture in the game, Lara has an entirely different motive for going to Yamatai in Tomb Raider. In the movie, Lara chose not to go to university and instead works as a courier. She learned her survival skills from her guardian, Conrad Roth. Lara was an archeologistThough Lara still rejected her inheritance in the video game version of Tomb Raider, she still went to school, worked odd jobs to support herself, and became an archaeologist. In the movie, he’s in charge of the business Croft Holdings and practices archeology in secret, kind of like Batman, but much less interesting. His reputation went down the drain when he started to look for rituals for resurrection after his wife passed away. Lara's father was an archeologist Unlike in the film, Lara's father was a successful and popular archaeologist. Lara is assumed to have been under Ana's care. In the movie, her father was seemingly absent for most of her childhood while he looked for Himiko’s secrets. Following the incident, family friend Conrad Roth took Lara in his care and she was estranged from the estate that point forward. Lord Croft’s death is made to look like he committed suicide. Lara doesn’t gather a team for the trip, but instead pairs up with a young fisherman, Lu Ren (Daniel Wu), whose father had taken Richard to Yamatai seven years prior, for her fated journey to the fabled island. Mp3 duplicate finder fuzzy logic12/3/2023 DOpus has a very large amount of tag decoding capability and if a DFF-style plugin used different criteria than what DOpus leveraged, it might lead to confusion. The names populated in this combo box could be derived from DFF Plugins with an exposed UI_Name property, along with a GetProcAddress() address and a HMODULE interface to the plugin DLL in question - not hard to make an array of that info after parsing relevant plugin DLLs (with a suitable scanning mechanism).Ī DFF-specific plugin could also export a function to define the file extensions that it cares to work with (e.g., ".mp3|mp4|ape|wmv", etc.) Only those extensions would be applied when selecting that particular "Data Type" for duplicate file finding.Īs for tag processing, a plugin can surely add their own tag processing, but I don't think that makes a lot of sense from a continuity perspective. I think there's room for a fourth option, which I envision as a combo box - labeled something like "Data Type", with entries like Music, Movies, Databases, or what not. ![]() Curently you have a "Comparison method" of: If this kind of feature existed it could greatly expand the DFF capabilities with duplicate detector plugins based on file types, which could be a very useful enhancement.īefore getting into any API concepts, I think the first thing to address is the UI itself - how would such a feature be integrated into the existing DOpus DFF UI. ![]() Ideally I'd love to be able to hook into the Duplicate detection algorithm with a custom callback to determine duplicate status. I want to automate the process of auto-tagging the lower-quality files rather than having to manually tag all the lower quality files one at a time which could take days.Īnybody know how capable DOpus' SDK / plug-in architecture is to accomplish this? I have about six folders (150+ GB) of MP3s with thousands of duplicates, but many of the duplicates are different quality copies of the same songs in the same CDs. ![]() Write a full-on plug-in that uses the tag SDK support so I can write my own DFF that will scan multiple (huge) folders of MP3s and compare their ID3 tags for duplicate detection, and auto-select the lower-quality files for deletion. Link into the existing DFF feature so I can alter the "duplicate criteria" logic so I can use ID3 tags for duplicate detection, or I wanted to know what would be involved in somehow enhancing (or replicating) the Duplicate File Finder feature.

Samsung tab s7 fe note taking12/3/2023 (OnePlus occasionally has a sale bundle that includes the keyboard or stylus with your tablet purchase for free.) It was the first time I felt comfortable working for long stretches of time on an Android tablet. Multitasking is notably efficient here, aided by the company's accessories: a Magnetic Keyboard case and a stylus. It's the first-ever tablet from the phone maker and it runs Android 13 out of the box, so there are a lot of improvements in making the Android experience on a tablet really great. If you're eyeing a tablet that can replace your laptop every now and then-one that still works great as an entertainment slate, and is not an iPad-take a look at the OnePlus Pad ( 8/10, WIRED Recommends). It supports the Magic Keyboard Folio and the Smart Folio case, but we recommend you go with a third-party keyboard to save some cash. There's also only first-gen Apple Pencil support, and the air gap between the screen and glass remains, so it's not the best iPad for sketching. Unfortunately, the price has jumped up, which is why Apple continues to sell the 9th-gen model. The 12-MP selfie camera now sits at the center when you hold the tablet horizontally-no need to awkwardly look to the side during video calls. There's also 5G support on the cellular model. It does have a USB-C port, which means you can use the same cable as your MacBook to recharge it. There's also no home button-instead, the Touch ID fingerprint sensor is embedded into the power button at the top-and no headphone jack. The 10th-gen iPad ( 7/10, WIRED Recommends) mimics the rest of Apple's slates with a uniform, slim bezel around the slightly larger 10.9-inch LCD screen. There's a discernible space between your fingertip and the actual pixels, which makes using the iPad for sketching a little less natural than its siblings.Īpple finally introduced a nicer entry-level iPad in 2022. ![]() It supports the first-gen Apple Pencil too, but this is the only iPad with a larger air gap between the glass and screen. The latter is especially true if you hook up Apple's Smart Keyboard (or a third-party alternative). You also get Apple's class-leading ecosystem of tablet-optimized apps, which truly make this a slate capable of entertainment and work. The camera will ensure you're always visible in the frame, handy if you're cooking and FaceTiming with Mom. The best addition to the 2021 model is the 12-megapixel selfie camera with support for Center Stage. It's the only iPad with this design anymore, and the only one that comes with an audio jack. Sure, it looks like an iPad from five years ago, with thick borders around the screen and a classic home button (with Touch ID), but maybe that's what you want. The ninth-generation model ( 8/10, WIRED Recommends) uses the same A13 Bionic chip that powers the iPhone 11, which outclasses similarly priced slates. It's surprisingly hard to find another tablet that performs as smoothly as Apple's iPad. Subscriptions help fund the work we do every day. This includes unlimited access to, full Gear coverage, and subscriber-only newsletters. Special offer for Gear readers: Get WIRED for just $5 ($25 off). Updated August 2023: We’ve added the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series. These are our favorites.īe sure to check out our other buying guides, including the Best iPads, Best Drawing Apps, Best iPad Accessories, Best Fire Tablets, and Best Touchscreen Laptops. ![]() If you want a tablet that can double as a laptop, an iPad or a Windows 2-in-1 might be your best bet. Amazon’s Fire tablets are also an affordable way to watch movies and browse the web, as long as you don’t mind their limitations. Android tablets are making a comeback recently as Google refocused its efforts on improving the tablet experience. The iPad’s ease of use and best-in-breed software make it the obvious choice for most people, but if you don’t want an iPad, other options exist. With a wealth of apps for drawing, painting, and making music, they’re also a great outlet for creative impulses. They're not essential but are nice to have around. ![]() The best tablet can be a portable TV screen around the house and a way to get some light work done away from your desk.

Mamp on drug screen12/3/2023 In 2003, methamphetamine lab incidents reached new highs in Georgia (250), Minnesota (309), and Texas (677). In 2004, more lab incidents were reported in Illinois (926) than in California (673). During this same period, methamphetamine lab incidents increased in midwestern States (Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio), and in Pennsylvania. The numbers of clandestine methamphetamine laboratory incidents reported to the National Clandestine Laboratory Database decreased from 1999 to 2004.Several other items of significance were reported, as follows: The percentage of adult male arrestees testing methamphetamine-positive in 2003 were highest in Honolulu (40.3 percent), Phoenix (38.3) San Diego (36.2), and Los Angeles (28.7). Results reported at the most recent CEWG meetings indicate that methamphetamine abuse and production continue at high levels in Hawaii, west coast areas, and some southwestern areas of the United States-but methamphetamine abuse also is continuing to spread eastward. Eighth-graders reported significant decreases in lifetime, annual, and 30-day use.Ĭommunity Epidemiology Work Group (CEWG)**.Lifetime use was measured at 5.3 percent of 10th grade students. In 2004, 6.2 percent of high school seniors had reported lifetime** use of methamphetamine, statistically unchanged from 2003.Recent data from the survey indicate the following: MTF assesses the extent of drug use among adolescents (8th-, 10th-, and 12th-graders) and young adults across the country. Its use can result in cardiovascular collapse and death. Other effects of methamphetamine include respiratory problems, irregular heartbeat, and extreme anorexia. Methamphetamine causes increased heart rate and blood pressure and can cause irreversible damage to blood vessels in the brain, producing strokes. Hyperthermia and convulsions can result in death. Other CNS effects include irritability, insomnia, confusion, tremors, convulsions, anxiety, paranoia, and aggressiveness. The central nervous system (CNS) actions that result from taking even small amounts of methamphetamine include increased wakefulness, increased physical activity, decreased appetite, increased respiration, hyperthermia, and euphoria. Dopamine- and serotonin-containing neurons do not die after methamphetamine use, but their nerve endings (“terminals”) are cut back, and regrowth appears to be limited. Users may become addicted quickly, and use it with increasing frequency and in increasing doses.Īnimal research going back more than 20 years shows that high doses of methamphetamine damage neuron cell endings. Oral or intranasal use produces euphoria-a high, but not a rush. Immediately after smoking or intravenous injection, the methamphetamine user experiences an intense sensation, called a “rush” or “flash,” that lasts only a few minutes and is described as extremely pleasurable. Methamphetamine is taken orally or intranasally (snorting the powder), by intravenous injection, and by smoking. Over time, methamphetamine appears to cause reduced levels of dopamine, which can result in symptoms like those of Parkinson’s disease, a severe movement disorder. It also appears to have a neurotoxic effect, damaging brain cells that contain dopamine as well as serotonin, another neurotransmitter. Methamphetamine releases high levels of the neurotransmitter dopamine, which stimulates brain cells, enhancing mood and body movement. Street methamphetamine is referred to by many names, such as “speed,” “meth,” and “chalk.” Methamphetamine hydrochloride, clear chunky crystals resembling ice, which can be inhaled by smoking, is referred to as “ice,” “crystal,” “glass,” and “tina.” Methamphetamine is made in illegal laboratories and has a high potential for abuse and addiction. Both drugs have some limited therapeutic uses, primarily in the treatment of obesity. ![]() ![]() Methamphetamine is chemically related to amphetamine, but the central nervous system effects of methamphetamine are greater. Methamphetamine is an addictive stimulant drug that strongly activates certain systems in the brain. |
